Development services.

Take advantage of our many years of experience in developing functionally safe components up to SIL 4, which also meet the requirements for reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) in accordance with EN 50126. Safety can also be secured up to SL 4 with regard to cybersecurity (safety and security).

Concept

  • Creation of the system concept in accordance with the required security level
  • Implementation of rapid prototyping and development of demonstrators and functional models, as well as feasibility analyses to ensure success
  • Preparation of safety requirements specifications, safety concept and consultation on your functionally safe product
  • Process-compliant implementation of threat analyses and creation of risk assessments for cybersecurity
  • Creation of security concepts in accordance with IEC 62443 and in compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
  • Design of mechanical constructions, even for harsh environmental conditions

Development

  • Development of your functionally safe product consisting of hardware according to EN 50129 and software according to EN 50128 or EN 50657
  • Comprehensive consulting and development services for functional safety, with regard to MTBF, FMEA, FMECA, fault tree analysis/FTA, HazOp, etc.
  • Ensuring functional safety through cybersecurity and implementation of secure source code in accordance with CLC/TS 50701 and IEC 62443 referenced therein
  • Integration of highly specialised ASICs, programming of FPGAs, µ-controllers and CPUs on all common platforms
  • Reliable verification and validation by our in-house specialist department and in our own testing laboratories, which also ensure reliability through HALT tests.
  • Development of customised and automated test systems on the embeX measurement platform
  • Support with the certification of your functionally safe product by TÜV or another certification body of your choice
  • Networking of your systems with industry-specific communication standards and expansion of the range of functions, e.g. to include fieldbuses and interfaces such as wireless technologies like Bluetooth or WLAN.
  • Design of robust enclosures and measures to protect your products even when used in harsh environmental conditions
  • Use of a wide range of tools for efficient collaboration
  • Performance of security-related tests in accordance with CLC/TS 50701 and IEC 62443
  • Creation of secure source code and performance of security-related tests in accordance with EN 50128 and IEC 62443

  • Complete preparation and handover of development documents
  • Responsible management of your production – or that of an EMS – after completion of development and support for the product throughout its entire life cycle with the assistance of the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT)
